VRC 4 – Akademos Rally, VCRS 5 Bog a Duck Rally

Melbourne University Car Club (MUCC) will be holding the 53rd edition of their Akademos Rally on 20^th October 2024. First run in 1960 as an Open event, Akademos became a round of the Victoria Trials Championship in 1962. Since then, every edition except one has been a round of the Victorian state championship or the Australian Rally Championship

Akademos 2024 will be for VRC competitors, with the Bog-a-Duck Rally run in conjunction for VCRS competitors. Akademos, but not the Bog-a-Duck, will be a noted event. Recce, for VRC competitors only, will be held on the day prior, Saturday 19 October.

Rally HQ will be in Alexandra and the stages will run in the Blue and Black Ranges Forests.. There will be four competitive stages, each used twice except the Bog-a-Duck won’t include a 2^nd running of the 4^th stage.  Total competitive distance will be approximately 130km for VRC and 113km for VCRS.
