HALLETT LAW

Hallett Law is a boutique Law Firm operating out of the Barossa Valley, SA. Led by Motorsport enthusiast and Lawyer, Kathryn Adams, who was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2003. Aside from being a Lawyer, Kathryn is a passionate supporter of VIC Rally and prefers to spend her spare time “trackside” with her young son, who is quickly becoming an avid supporter of the sport.

After graduating, Kathryn worked in mid to top tier law firms in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She specialised in employment and industrial relations law. That experience led her to become an in-house lawyer for multinational recruitment and outsourced labour companies. 

She was enticed up to Broome, Western Australia, in 2017 where she became involved in community law work, but also ran a successful event business in her spare time. She moved her firm to the Barossa in 2019 where she continues to assist people in remote communities in the areas of Commercial and Business Law, and Workplace Law.

Her experience providing legal advice to seventeen offices in nine countries around the Asia Pacific region for a global recruitment company, as well as her academic experience teaching at universities in the areas of corporate law, commercial law, internet law, and alternative dispute resolution, and her time working within community legal centres, where she represented a broad range of people on personal legal matters, leaves her best placed to advise businesses of any size on a range of corporate and commercial matters.
